Here I am back from two tiring but rewarding weeks in the Middle East. First and foremost I would like to use this space to convey once again a bit *thank you* to all these students that participated to our presentations as a live testimony of our success. You have been the best Ambassadors and the reason why we exist: there is no college without students.
My tour started with Bahrain click here for the gallery a new entry in my tour and a very interesting country. Special thanks to our student Anubha for the great support.
The second stop was in Kuwait click here for the gallery were over 120 potential students attended. Given that these "Meet the Dean" event are by invitation only this was really very nice surprise. Special Thanks to our students Ahmad, Nosheen, Hamed and Ahmed for the participation.
The longest stop in my tour was in Abu Dhabi were the Emirates Palace inspired several prospective students in our Board Room. Abu Dhabi click here for the gallery even if much less famous than Dubai is a a truly special place for many reasons but some might be explained in this very interesting article. With the terrific help of our student Nicola this was another successful event.
Dubai never disappoints: once again I held my presentation in the unique surrounding of the biggest artificial ski mountain of the planet: the Kempinski Mall of the Emirates click here to see more were Sajid, Sreekumar, Filomena, Connie and other brave RKC ambassadors made again the difference.
I truly enjoyed my stay in Dubai as it is always a very unique place to be: a bit Las Vegas, a bit New York and of course a truly modern and visionary city of the Middle East.
Last but not least I visited Doha click here for the gallery in Qatar. I am a big fan of Qatar Airways which is one of my favourite airlines so every stop in Doha is usually a great stay. Another good thing of Qatar is that is not as busy as Dubai: whilst many business schools are recruiting actively in Dubai there are much less online MBA's active in Qatar. Thanks to our Ambassadors Adel, Mariana, Aminah, Osama, Svetlana and Hesham the event was a great success. I didn't particularly fancy the services at the venue but I will certainly find a better one for our next event.
The final slide in my 2008 presentation cited Scott Simon "Intelligent people can always come up with intelligent reasons to do nothing."Â Hopefully many of our prospective students will find intelligent reasons to upgrade their career today.
Thanks again for your great support and participation. I look forward to meeting you again in your beautiful country and if you join us , in Switzerland for your residency.
